Geekpark.net is an internet start-up with the ambition to integrate all best social apps into one single platform and provide users an unparalled experience in tech news, twittering, socializing, and more. Its alpha version has just kicked off its public trial and we invite tech geeks to join the dev team in coding. Learn all our bells and whistles while contributing some of our own.
1. Senior Internet App Developer (2 positions): 8000/month plus welfare
attributes
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills;
2. Good command of English language, quick reader of English technical papers, tutorials, and documents is essential;
3. Strong interests in internet, new web applications, and relevant technologies;
4. Strong web application documentation, design, coding, and testing experience;
5. Proven ability to provide effort and elapsed time estimates for assigned projects;
6. Commitment to product requirements, going above, and beyond the call of duty;
7. Social media experiences with sites such as twitter, facebook, douban, etc., is essential;
Technical requirement
8. 5+ years experience of PHP design/code/test in open source environment and was involved in large scale / highly-trafficked websites;
9. Solid and deep understanding and practical experiences of MVC/Object-Oriented design and architecture;
10. Excellent working knowledge of HTML, CSS, AJAX/JAVASCRIPT is essential;
11. Excellent working knowledge of database modeling/design/implementation/optimization is must;
12. Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating system, REDHAT Linux preferred;
13. Working knowledge of Codeigniter framework is a plus;
14. Apple/Macintosh madiac is preferred;
15. Practical knowledge of climbing over GFW is a plus;
2. WEB Interface Designer (1 position): 6000/month plus welfare
1. 3+ years of experience working as a web interface designer with a track record of defining interaction design on large-scale web, mobile, and / or desktop applications;
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills;
3. An impressive UI design portfolio showing your working experience;
4. Strong knowledge of Adobe suite of products (Photoshop and Illustrator);
5. Experience prototyping rich interactions since the products we build are highly interactive;
6. Working knowledge of color theory, visual design, and typography;
7. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, AJAX. Flash, Flex;
8. Influential artistic and creative skills while remaining detail oriented and process focused;
9. Strong facilitation skills and strong ability to lead requirements gathering, design brainstorming, and other types of working sessions;
10. Understanding of technology and business trends and evolution and convergence of internet, mobile, location, and social digital media;
11. Strong ability to work and converse intelligently with fellow user experience designers, product managers, and application architects;
12. Apple/Macintosh madiac is preferred;
